Japan crude imports August 2026: 31.6% American, 62.6% Gulf, 53% more per kilolitre, and why PSO's Rs 424.92 diesel is the floor for your generator hour

Japan's customs table for August counts the re-routed barrel: US crude 31.6% of volume against 4.6% a year ago, the Middle East 62.6% against 93.8%, at 53% more per kilolitre. What that does to a TP250001 generator hour at PSO's Rs 424.92, and a dated call that diesel does not print below Rs 400 before 31 December.
